Did you know?

• There has been no other Hispanic Country music artist to reach wide-spread acceptance, recognition and success in the Country music industry since 1975 when Freddy Fender garnered two awards:

ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (1975) “Most Promising Male Vocalist”

COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (1975) “Single of the Year” - Before The Next Teardrop Falls

• There are numerous Hispanic musicians and artists in Country music today, yet only 3-5 are signed to Nashville recording labels.

• Of these, Hispanic Country artists on average receive little if no major marketing dollars in support of a key album or single release.

• In addition, Hispanic Country artists receive nearly no support from major Country music radio stations in the U.S. In fact, there are no Hispanic Country artists charting on the Billboard Top Country Singles chart and it has been this way for many years now.

• Hispanic Country music artists are a viable part of U.S. music culture and they need your support now.
